Privacy Policy
This privacy policy explains the small amount of information electroculturegardening.org receives when you read it, and what changes when you play a video or follow a link to the store.
What we collect
Electroculture Gardening is a set of static pages with nothing to fill in. There are no forms, accounts, comment boxes or newsletter sign-ups, so the site never asks for your name, email, phone number or payment details. The pages set no cookies, load no analytics or advertising scripts, and do not sell or share visitor information. Nothing on the site follows you from page to page.
Hosting and server logs
The pages are delivered by a static hosting and content-delivery provider. Like any web server, its systems receive standard request details: the IP address making the request, the time, the page or file requested, the referring page, and the browser and device type your browser reports. Those records exist to deliver pages, block abuse and fix errors, are kept for the provider's normal retention period, and are not used by us to profile visitors or target advertising.
Videos
Some guides include a video hosted on YouTube. Until you press play, the page shows only the video's thumbnail image, which your browser fetches from YouTube's image server; that request shares your IP address and browser details with YouTube, but no YouTube player, script or cookie is loaded. When you press play, the video loads in YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode from youtube-nocookie.com, and YouTube's own privacy policy applies to that playback.
Links to other sites
Some antenna pages link to product pages at thrivegarden.com. The store shares an owner with this site, as set out in the ownership disclosure, but it runs its own checkout, cookies and privacy policy, which apply once you arrive there. Other outbound links go to libraries, journals and university pages that hold the original documents; those sites have their own policies too.
Changes
If the site ever starts collecting information, for example through a new feature, this page will be updated before that change goes live. See also the terms of use and the accessibility statement.
